Twenty minutes on court at no charge. Tell Bec roughly when you can play and she will find a court near you.
Common questions
Do I need my own racquet?
No. Bec keeps loaner racquets in every size, from junior 21-inch frames to adult, and provides all balls. Bring court shoes, water, and a hat.
I have never played. Is that a problem?
It is the most common way to start. Complete beginners spend their first lesson rallying, not doing footwork drills in a line. You will hit balls on day one.
What happens if it rains or the heat is dangerous?
Lessons move to covered courts at Lee LeClear or reschedule at no charge. In July and August most sessions run before 9:00 am or after 6:00 pm.
How does blind and adaptive tennis actually work?
The ball is a foam ball with a bearing inside, so you hear where it is. The court is smaller, the net is lower, and depending on your sight classification the ball may bounce up to three times. Bec has the equipment and coaches the full B1 to B4 range.
Can my kid and I take a lesson together?
Yes. A semi-private for two is $110 per hour and parent-child sessions are one of Bec's favorite things to teach.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel or move a lesson up to 24 hours ahead at no cost. Inside 24 hours the lesson is charged, except for illness or weather.
Do you take on tournament players?
Yes, including UTR and USTA junior tournament schedules, high-school lineup preparation, and college recruiting video.
